VIS Limunada

VIS Limunada is a band from Belgrade that plays cover versions and original songs in the style of the 1950s and 1960s: close harmonies, twangy guitars, organ and the light touch of early Yugoslav pop.

Their first album, Kreni – Studio B Session, came out in 2015, followed in 2016 by Limunada, with songs such as "Budi moja ljubav", "Gromovi u glavi", "Ša la la (dušo to si ti)", "Dule, Dule (On je fin)" and "Čekam, plačem, nadam se". The band also recorded "Ja znam da znaš" for the film Paluba ispod Terazija. Videos for "Zbogom ljubavi" (2016), "Kupili smo gramofon" (2017) and "Te slatke misli" (2018) followed, and in 2019 they sang "Ti, odakle si ti?" with actress and singer Ida Prester.

In 2022 VIS Limunada took part in Pesma za Evroviziju '22, Serbia's selection for the Eurovision Song Contest, with "Pesma ljubavi". The same year they released "Bolje je što nismo više zajedno".

The line-up is led by singer and acoustic guitarist Miodrag Ninić, with Vladimir Živković on electric guitar, Marija Kovačina on percussion, ukulele and vocals, Stefan Pejatović on drums, Dragan Milovanović on keyboards and Luka Arežina on bass. Earlier members included bassist Duška Rajković, keyboard player Borko Milojković and drummer Tihomir Živković.
