About Allegro Bend
Allegro Bend is a pop band of musicians from Obrenovac, Serbia. It was founded by Svetozar Andrić, known as Sveta Allegro, a musician and songwriter who holds the rights to the band's name. For a decade he was also the backing vocalist and keyboard player of Haris Džinović.
The band's singer is Sladjana Pejić, known to the public as Slađa Alegro. Her career began well before Allegro: in 1999 she was a member of Frenki, at the time a very popular group whose songs "Ostani", "Sveti vid" and "Zvezda" are still sung today, and she did a great deal of studio work, including backing vocals.
With Allegro she became widely known, above all through "Živim za to", the song that brought her her greatest success. The band's other songs include "Izdao si me", "Kao da nema me" and "Nostalgija". In 2025 Slađa Alegro said she had been in music for 25 years; that August she had to postpone a concert in her home town of Obrenovac when she and members of her band fell ill.
On 1 October 2025 Sveta Allegro released the first part of a new eight-song album, Ništa ili sve, with "Ništa ili sve", "Mesečina", "Probao sam da ti verujem" and "Rana stara", as the start of a solo career; he worked with Saša Milošević Mare on four of the new songs.
