About Kejt
Kejt is the stage name of Katarina Bogićević, a Montenegrin pop singer and actress born on 17 March 1998 in Podgorica. She comes from a musical family: her father Veselin teaches the clarinet and her mother Dijana composes music for children.
She started singing at the age of four and became known through children's music festivals, among them Naša radost in Podgorica. Her children's songs ran from "Čudna priča" in 2002 through "Milutine" and "Polarna pjesma" to "Vaška" in 2009, and at twelve she released a CD of children's songs, most of them composed by her father.
In 2011 she finished fifth in the talent show Ja imam talenat!, and she later appeared in Tvoje lice zvuči poznato. As an actress she is best known as Zvezdana in the TV series Folk (2012-2014), for which she also sang "Mito bekrijo". Under her own name she released "Reciklaža" (2013), "Bez riječi" (2014) and "Perfect" (2017) with STO1K.
At Montevizija 2018, Montenegro's selection for Eurovision, she sang "Neželjena", reached the final and finished runner-up behind Vanja Radovanović and "Inje". From then on she recorded as Kejt: "Hoću da igram" (2018), "Mikelanđelo" (2019), "Cure sa Balkana" (2020), "Olovo", which she sang at Sunčane skale in 2022, "Eva" (2022) with Sajsi MC and Tijara, the duet "Pola pola" (2023) with the rapper Kendi, "Šaman" (2023) and "Azurna noć", her song at the Biser Jadrana festival in 2024.
She tried for Eurovision again at Montesong 2024 with "Obala raja" and placed fifth in the final, which was won by NeonoeN. Her official video for "Ruža" is on her own channel, and her releases also include "Ona plače", "Koža ne grebe" and "Ti bi nešto sa mnom".
