David Dreshaj

David Dreshaj is a pop singer from Montenegro who sings in Albanian. He was born on 23 September 1999 in Podgorica into an Albanian family, and he grew up and went to school there, which is why he is on Muzika-Balkan under Montenegro. In a 2020 interview he said he lives in Montenegro, though he has also studied music in Albania.

He began singing at the age of four, and at ten he entered the music school in Podgorica. Later he studied singing, piano, guitar and solfège in Albania. He plays guitar and piano himself.

His career started at Kënga Magjike in 2016, when he was sixteen. His song "Të kam", written and composed by Adrian Hila, came third in the New Artist category and took him to the festival's final. He returned to Kënga Magjike in 2017, this time among the established artists, with "Vetëm ne të dy", composed by Darko Dimitrov to words by Olti Curri. Early singles included "Loving You" and "Eja".

"Bomb" in 2019, with words by David himself, Lumi B and the producers BigBang, entered The Top List in Albania and reached number 32. That September "Sierra" became his first number one. In 2020 "Nuk e dua", a dance-pop song with deep house touches by Darko Dimitrov and Lindon Berisha, reached number 4. "Lonely" went to number 2 in 2021, followed by "Ta fala" (4), "Ma le" (11), "Egoiste" and "Asaj", and "Ku je" reached number 16 in 2022.

He has recorded duets with Elinel ("Ama zemren"), Don Phenom ("Tequila"), Young Zerka ("Diabla"), Skerdi ("Sonte") and Blero ("Ta dija"). He also made The Christmas EP, with "Silent Night", "Mary Did You Know" and "Jingle Bells", and filmed some of its carols live in Međugorje in December 2022. "Te Quiero - Je T'Aime" was filmed in Lovćen National Park. His newest songs include "Sytë e tu" and "Mala" with Korab Shaqiri. The playlist is his own collection of official music videos.
