Elinel

Elinel is a Kosovar rapper and songwriter, born Granit Bajraktari on 13 June 1990 in Pristina. His family comes from the Drenica region, but he was born and raised in the capital, where he went to the Xhevdet Doda high school and later studied mass communication at AAB University. His stage name, also written LNL, comes from the words "Life in Lyrics".

He first made his name in the Pristina rap underground as a member of the group Abstract, with whom he released the mixtape One Message Received in 2009 and later the debut album Abstract. He also made the mixtape In Home Recording with the rapper Krayzie Xia. On his own he broke through with the video "Life in Lyrics (True Story)" in February 2011, and his first solo album, O, with twelve songs, came out in 2013.

Through the 2010s he released a steady run of videos: "Bullet", "Sirena", "Nimë", "Legend", "Na thej", "1 qëllim", "Kuku", "Dream", "Funeral" and "Lambo", and "Per familje" with MC Kresha in 2018. He has said that his hard life and everyday Pristina are what his lyrics are made of, and fans took to calling him the "Albanian Eminem" for his fast, distinctive delivery.

From 2016 he began to work with pop, R&B and rock singers, explaining that he had not changed, only his circumstances had. He appeared on songs by Fjolla Morina, Alban Skenderaj, Butrint Imeri, Besa and Flori Mumajesi, whose duet with him, "Në shpirt", passed 300,000 views in three days. He also recorded "Pa ty" with NRG Band and "S'ka tjetër" with Numen.

His later albums include Gur and Temeli, eleven songs with guests such as Ledri Vula, Era Istrefi, Lumi B, Buta and MC Kresha. Recent songs include "Shiesty" with MC Kresha, "Du" with Rina Balaj and duets with Andra Rexhepi, and the solo song "Nëpër kohë" brought him back to The Top List after a break.
