Retrovizorja

Retrovizorja is a rock band from Kosovo. Wikipedia names it among the best-known bands to emerge in Kosovo during the 1990s and after the war of 1999, beside KEK, Troja, 7me7, Cute Babulja and Por-no.

Its song "1999" (2003), with a video by Klejdi Eski, was chosen by the music magazine Norient as one of five videos of Kosovo's post-war independent scene: hazy scenes of the city, with aimless characters in grey, washed-out landscapes.

The band made two albums with the singer Elina Duni, who was born in Tirana in 1981 and later became known as a jazz singer: Lakuriq (2004) and I kaltër (2009). Lakuriq includes "Këngë budallaqe", "RokStar", "Rrotullohem", "Laroshe" and "Flej". A later album, Signals, has songs in English and Albanian, among them "I Wish", "Mornings", "The Cure Is Your Love" and "Flutur" with the singer Shpat Deda.
