Arta Kabashi

Arta Kabashi is a pop singer and songwriter from Kosovo and the sister of the singer Ana Kabashi. Telegrafi introduces her as a singer from Kosovo; where she was born is not given in the sources. In recent years she has chosen to present herself simply as Arta, and some of her newest songs appear under the name Art.

She has been singing since childhood. With Ana she started out on the talent show Albanians Got Talent in 2010, and she later turned professional. She does not only sing her songs: she writes the lyrics and shapes each song together with her producer until it is finished.

After two years away from the Albanian music market she came back with "Maje", which she wrote herself and which entered the Top Awards chart at number 89. Under the management of the label Onima she went on to release "Për ty", "Heartburn" and "Dying for U", a duet with Elgit Doda that entered The Top List, as well as "Lejëm" and "Toxic".

In January 2024 she entered the house of Big Brother VIP Albania 3, where viewers came to like her calm nature and her voice. The song "Falëm" with Romeo Veshaj was born inside the house and released after she left. With her sister she has recorded the duet "Tdu hala" and "Jena shqipe", released on 28 November 2023, for which the two wrote the lyrics.
