Butrint Imeri is a singer and songwriter of R&B and pop, born on 3 July 1996 in Lörrach in the south-west of Germany. His family is Albanian and comes from Kçiq i Madh, a village near Mitrovica in Kosovo, which is why he is counted as a Kosovan artist; English Wikipedia also describes him as a Kosovan singer.

Before he sang, he danced. He started as a young boy, and for seven years he trained with the Dance Energy academy and performed in cities across Germany. His musical career began in 2015, and he became known in Albania, Kosovo and the rest of the Albanian-speaking Balkans with his first singles, "Ki me lyp", "Merre zemrën tem" and "Eja eja", released in 2015 and 2016. "Delicious", a duet with the Greek singer Eleni Foureira, reached number five in Albania.

His first Albanian number one came in 2017 with "Xhanem". In 2019 he topped the chart again with "Sa gjynah", a song with the rapper Majk, and "Dream Girl" with the German rapper Nimo entered the charts in Germany, Austria and Switzerland. In 2020 "Për një dashuri", a duet with Ermal Fejzullahu, peaked at number two and "Phantom" became another number one. On 10 May 2020 he also released Acoustic Sessions, a collection of his songs in unplugged versions, through AVD Digital. Over the years his records have come out through 96 Management, Yellowcake Music Group and Universal.

In 2021 "Dale", recorded with Kida and Ledri Vula, went to number one in Albania. "Diskoteka" (2023) reached number six in Switzerland and also charted in Greece, and "Lonely" with Era Istrefi followed the same year. His 2024 releases include "Psikopat", "Tu menu", "Princesa", "Malli" and "Luj" with Dystinct.

Butrint Imeri has named Justin Timberlake as his biggest musical influence and has said he is a fan of the Albanian singer Elvana Gjata. He has released more than forty singles since 2015.
