Kida

Kida is the stage name of Orhidea Latifi, a Kosovo-Albanian singer born on 21 December 1997 in Rahovec. She lives in Pristina and sings Albanian pop with a strong urban, hip hop side.

She first caught the public's attention with a performance at a concert by the rapper DMX, and the video for her first single, "Murder", released on 11 January 2014, used footage from that night. In April 2014 she followed it with "Rikthejm na" with MC Kresha, which she sang at Zhurma Show, Kosova Fest and SVFM that year.

"Ski ide" reached number four in Albania in 2015. In 2016 she recorded "Mi Amore" with Ermal Fejzullahu, "Ku je" with Getinjo and "Uh Baby" with Xhensila, her first number one. "Andërr", "Pe du" and "Harroj" with Fero came in 2017, and "Ti" became another chart-topper in 2018.

2019 and 2020 were her most successful years at home. "Deja Vu" with Lyrical Son and "Tela" with Ermal Fejzullahu both went to number one in Albania, and in July 2020 two duets with Mozzik, "Paranoia" and "Pishmon", held the top of the Albanian chart and also entered the Swiss one. Other hits of these years were "Malli", number three in 2019, and "Drunk", number seven in 2020; she was then signed to Yellowcake Music Group.

In June 2021 she released "Lila" with the rapper Samra, which reached number twelve in Switzerland and 23 in Germany. "Dale", recorded with Butrint Imeri and Ledri Vula, was another number one, "Ike" reached 54 in Switzerland, and her debut album, Orchidé, came out on 21 December 2021 on Urban, a Sony Music label.

In 2022 she followed it with "Tdu" featuring Ledri Vula, which reached number two in Albania, "Luje Belin" with Dafina Zeqiri, and the pair "AM" and "PM" with Butrint Imeri.
