Fero

Fero is a rapper and songwriter whose real name is Feronit Shabani. He was born on 8 July 1997 into an Albanian family in Germany and now lives in Kosovo. English Wikipedia describes him as a Kosovan rapper, and Albanian Wikipedia as a Kosovar rapper and composer born in Germany and as the well-known rapper from Gjilan, which is why he is listed in the Kosovo section. His music is hip-hop and rap in Albanian.

He started releasing songs in 2016 with "Feromeni" and "S'du me ni", a track with Endri. In those first years he worked with the labels Friends Entertainment and On Records, and success came quickly: in 2017 "Rra rra" went to number one on the Albanian chart. The same year brought "Harroj" with Kida, "Bakshish" and "A pe din qysh", which Albanian Wikipedia calls the hit that made him widely known.

In 2018 he released "Gang Gang", "Veni 1", "Vi vet", "Bona fam" and "Alles Baba", and he was the guest rapper on Rina's "Ska konkurenc", which reached number two in Albania, and on Sparksi's "Mamacita". The next year opened with "Baba për ikona", "Fol edhe 1 her", "Momo" with Zzap and "Ride or Die".

In August 2019 Fero ended his contract with On Records and moved to Berlin, where he set up his own label. In the following months he released "Jom rrit" and "Habibi", both of which entered the Albanian charts, and in 2020 came his album Self Loyalty, with "Jom rrit", "Mama", "Habibi" and "Marijuana". Singles such as "2Pac", "Bella" and "GTA" followed in 2021 and 2022.

In August 2023 he announced that he was stepping away from music, and in March 2025 he announced his return, managed by Rinor Hykolli. "Gorilla" marked the comeback and was followed by "Lejla", "Tornado", "Wow", "A pe sheh" and "Rolls Royce" with Ghetto Geasy. In 2026 he released "Kalle" with Majk, "Missa", "After Party", "My Boo", "Diskoteka" and "Rrah Rrah 2", and the playlist here gathers the videos and visualizers of this second phase from his own channel.
