About Bojan Marović

Bojan Marović is a Montenegrin pop singer and actor from Podgorica. He was born on 21 May 1984 in Titograd, as the city was then called, went to the "Boro Ćetković" primary school and the secondary music school, and studied the cello at the Music Academy in Cetinje.

Music runs in the family: his mother, Sanja Saki Marović, released the songs "Rastanak kraj reke" and "Sreli smo se mnogo kasno" in 1978. In 2001 he won a karaoke series run by the Podgorica café bar Epicentar, and the next year he made his first festival appearance at Sunčane skale in Herceg Novi with "Više te nema", a song his mother had given him for his eighteenth birthday.

In 2003 he returned to Sunčane skale and won the festival with "Tebi je lako", which became a big hit just as his first song had. In 2004 he won the festival in Ohrid, taking the Grand Prix together with the audience award, the award for best interpretation and the Dolni Saraj award of the city of Ohrid, and in 2007 he won in Ohrid a second time with "Ničeg nema".

His albums are Zbog tebe (2004), Litar neba (2007) and Za tebe i mene (2011). In 2006 he released the single "Srno malena". Litar neba holds "Kao ti", which became his biggest hit, and it was named album of the year at the Montefon awards in 2007. In 2011 he released "Budi dobra prema sebi" in honour of his late colleague Toše Proeski, who had composed it. He has also acted: he played Balša in the Montenegrin film Imam nešto važno da vam kažem (2005) and appeared in the series Sinđelići in 2017.

Festivals have stayed at the heart of his career. He sang "Svejedno" at Evropesma in 2005, "Da moja si" at the Radio Festival in Serbia in 2008, won the media award at Vrnjačka Banja in 2009 and sang "Svaki korak tvoj" at Pjesma Mediterana in Budva in 2010. At Beogradsko proleće he sang "Živim za nas" in 2022 and "Idem, odlazim" in 2025, which won the Naxi Radio award for the best song, and in 2022 he sang "Četri zida" at Skale in Herceg Novi.

His later singles include "Pusti me" and "Da li si spremna" (2016), "Kao da si tu" (2018) and "Još si samo moja" (2019), and on his own channel he has released the videos "Sve bih dao" (2024) and "Alibi" (2026).
