About Iva Lorens

Iva Lorens, born Iva Mišović on 1 July 1996 in Belgrade, is a Serbian singer-songwriter and producer. She started writing songs at the age of nine. Her mother is the model, TV host and journalist Irena Mišović. Lorens studied music management at the British Institute of Modern Music in Berlin, lives between Berlin and Belgrade, and has also worked as a presenter on the regional MTV.

She first released songs in English under the name Lorens: "Close" and "No Good For Him" in 2019, then "Never Get Better" and "Just Because" in 2020, the last of which became a hit in Germany. Her debut album, I Guess It's About You, came out the same year.

In 2021 she turned to Serbian with "Svitanje", written with the Pančevo band Buč Kesidi, followed by "Zima" that winter and by "Tenzija", "2 do 4", "Flirt" and "Hej (nisi više isti)" in 2022. Through the Tuborg Open music project in Los Angeles she got the chance to work with Jason Derulo. Her Serbian album Svitanje was released in 2023, together with a deluxe edition, with "Udarci" among its singles.

In December 2023 Iva Lorens was announced as a contestant in Pesma za Evroviziju '24, Serbia's selection for the Eurovision Song Contest, with "Dom", which reached the final. In 2024 she released "Asfalt" with Marko Bošnjak, and in July 2026 the video for "Vreme trošiš mi".

The playlist is her own channel, from her newest video back to "Svitanje" and her first English songs.
