About Marko Bošnjak
Marko Bošnjak is a Bosnian Croat pop singer and songwriter, born on 11 January 2004 in Mostar. He grew up in Prozor, and in 2025 he represented Croatia at the Eurovision Song Contest.
He began singing in a church choir at the age of five and as a small child won the Djeca pjevaju Isusu festival. He finished primary school in Prozor and went on to the School of Graphics, Design and Media Production in Zagreb. At eleven he entered the second season of the Serbian children's talent show Pinkove zvezdice, and he won it in 2016.
In 2022 he took part in Dora, the Croatian selection for Eurovision, with "Moli za nas", which also came out as his debut single. The song finished second of fourteen. In April of that year he sang "Pjesma za kraj" at the Split Festival. "Spokojan" and "Nema" followed in 2023, then "Pusti me", "Asfalt" with Iva Lorens, "Takav dan" and the Christmas song "Zdravo budi mladi kralju" in 2024. "Moli za nas" and "Spokojan" were both nominated for the Cesarica award, and he was nominated as best new face at Zlatni studio 2024.
He came back to Dora in 2025 and won it on 2 March with "Poison Cake", which went to number one on the Croatian chart. Early in 2025 he had also joined the ninth season of Tvoje lice zvuči poznato, but left the show after his Dora win. At Eurovision in Basel he sang in the first semi-final and finished 12th with 28 points, just missing the final, and he was nominated for the Eurovision Awards as a non-qualifying show-stopper.
His next single was "Villain" (2025). In August 2025 Marko Bošnjak announced a break from music and social media. This playlist holds his recordings, from "Moli za nas" and "Spokojan" to "Poison Cake" and "Villain".
