Vrčak

Vrčak, born Rade Vrčakovski in 1980, is a Macedonian singer and songwriter who mixes pop with rap. He wrote the words of "Ninanajna", Elena Risteska's Eurovision song of 2006, and two years later he sang at Eurovision himself.

He began his music career after four years in the USA. His first song, "I povtorno sam", came out in 1999, followed by the album Kako da pobegnam od se. He studied medicine at the Ss. Cyril and Methodius University in Skopje and stepped away from music for a while, but in the end he chose music, following his father's path.

Makfest became his stage for duets. In 2001 he sang "Den po den" there with Andrijana Janevska, later "Tajnite angeli" with Robert Bilbilov, and in 2006 "Sedmo nebo" with Tamara Todevska, which won the festival. In 2007 he received the award for best stage performance for "Nedopirliva", sung with Adrian Gaxha.

His return album, Vo tvoeto srce (2006), became one of the biggest-selling albums in the country, with heavy radio and television airplay. The same year he wrote the lyrics of "Ninanajna", composed by Darko Dimitrov, which Elena Risteska took to 12th place in the Eurovision final in Athens.

In 2008 he wrote "Vo ime na ljubovta" and sang it with Tamara Todevska and Adrian Gaxha. The trio won Skopje Fest on 23 February 2008 at the Metropolis Arena and went to Eurovision with the English version, "Let Me Love You". In the second semi-final on 22 May 2008 they finished tenth with 64 points, but that year the tenth place in the final was given by backup juries, which chose Sweden, so Macedonia missed the final. His third album, Na sedmo nebo, followed in 2009.

Many of the songs gathered on his channel are duets: "Losa devojka (Ojlala)" and "Pop Pero" with Tamara Todevska, "Zaspana ubavica" with Elena Risteska, and "Vo tvoeto srce", "Polna mesečina" and "Navlečen na tebe" with DNK.
