About Gjoko Jović
Gjoko Jović, also written Gjoko Jovik, is a Macedonian folk and pop-folk singer. He was born on 27 September 1985 in Valandovo and lives and works in Skopje. He has been singing since 2006, when he appeared at the Valandovo folk festival with "Crvena višna", and for many years he has also been a member of the group Energy Band.
Besides traditional Macedonian songs he sings songs of his own, some of which became hits. He has sung duets with well-known Macedonian singers: "Kruna na ljubovta" with Blagica Pavlovska, "Mili brate" with Goce Petreski and "Kluč od rajot" with Milica Kuzmanovska.
Since 2014 he has released a steady run of music videos, among them "Ludnica", "Zumba Zumba", "Koreni", "1001 nokj", "Rešiv doma da se vratam", "Oči okeani" and "Pustina". Director Vlado Dojčinovski made the videos for "Stojne mome na čorbadži Stojana" (2019), "Ergeni se zbrale" (2023) and "Za četiri naši dečinja" (2024). The videos for "Nezaboravna" and "Magija", both from 2024, were filmed in Australia, where he often performs.
Gjoko Jović has given many concerts for Macedonians abroad, in the United States, Canada, Australia, Switzerland, Germany and other European countries. His songs, from the newest singles back to his early folk recordings, are gathered here in one playlist.
