Unikat

Ansambel Unikat is a Slovenian narodnozabavna band, the Slovenian folk-pop style of accordion, guitars and close harmony singing. It comes from Gorica pri Slivnici near Šentjur and has played since 2000, which is why it is on Muzika-Balkan under Slovenia. The band is still based there: its music society, Glasbeno društvo Unikat, has its address in the village.

Today the band is Davor Pušnik on accordion and vocals, singer Andreja Črešnar, Matic Supovec on guitar and vocals, Andrej Sluga on guitar and Bojan Kene on bass and baritone. Earlier members were guitarist Luka Polenšek, singer Špela Žafran and Uroš Tašner on bass and baritone.

The band has made four albums: Prešmentana ljubezen (2001), Ne cukaj me za kitki (2004), Glej, tu si doma (2006) and Dolgo pričakovani (2013). Since then it has released its songs as singles with videos, among them "Kaj pa ti" (2017), "Pred tabo zdaj stojim" and "Sanje iščem zaman" (2019), "Ne rani srca" (2020), "Bilo je lepo" (2023), "Pa pa" (2024), "Češnje spet zorijo" and "Reka luči" (2025) and "Ker sem poročena" (2026).

Like most bands of its kind, Unikat also plays dance and folk music at weddings, graduation balls and village festivals, and it has posted acoustic covers of pop songs such as Jan Plestenjak's "Jaz že vem zakaj". The playlist gathers the videos from the band's own channel.
