About Saša, Tin i Kedžo

Saša, Tin i Kedžo was a Croatian pop trio, the first boy band in Croatia. It was formed in Zagreb in 2003 out of the Nova TV reality show Story Supernova Music Talents, and its three singers are Croatian, which is why it is on Muzika-Balkan under Croatia. The band is no longer together. Its singers went their own ways, and in 2013 Saša Lozar was a morning host on Antena Zagreb, Tin Samardžić ran a hotel in Supetar on the island of Brač, and Damir Kedžo was on stage in the musical Crna kuća.

Saša Lozar, Tin Samardžić and Damir Kedžo were all finalists of the show in late 2003; Lozar reached the final four, and the winner was Rafael Dropulić. The band was put together because the three were popular with the show's teenage viewers, and according to English Wikipedia none of them was keen on the idea but all were bound by contract.

Its only album, Instant, came out on Croatia Records in 2004, with thirteen songs written mostly by Boris Đurđević and Faruk Buljubašić. Critics did not like it, but "365", which got a music video, became the band's big hit, and "Ništa ili sve" was the other well-known song. In the summer of 2004 the trio toured the Adriatic coast; only ten of the 29 planned concerts took place before the tour was called off over disputes with the managers.

In early 2005 they entered Dora, the Croatian selection for Eurovision, with "Zašto". The song came 11th of 20 in the presentation round and 5th in its semi-final, and in the final it was 10th of 14 in the first round. After that the band faded and the members parted.

Each went on alone. Saša Lozar released the soul album 1 dan in 2007 and later worked in radio. Damir Kedžo won the MIK festival in 2007, released his first solo album in 2008 and in 2020 won Dora with "Divlji vjetre", though that year's Eurovision was cancelled. Tin Samardžić left music for hotel management. The playlist holds the band's album Instant, with "365", "Neodoljivo", "Sve što želiš" and "Ništa ili sve".
