About Saša Lozar
Saša Lozar is a Croatian pop singer and radio presenter, born on 12 February 1980 in Laduč near Brdovec, in Croatia. He is on Muzika-Balkan as a singer born and raised there; he went to the Tituš Brezovački Gymnasium and finished school in 1998. The sources found do not say where he lives today.
He first sang on television as a boy, in 1992, on HRT's Turbo Limach Show, where he reached the final and came second to Renata Sabljak. In 2003 he entered Nova TV's talent show Story Supernova Music Talents, singing "Hero" and Oliver Dragojević's "Kad mi dođeš ti", and finished as runner-up. He went on to work as a radio presenter.
In January 2004 he became one of the three singers of the boy band Saša, Tin i Kedžo, with Damir Kedžo and Tin Samardžić. Their debut album Instant sold 10,000 copies and the single "365" spent six weeks at the top of the Croatian charts. The band split in 2005, leaving each member free for solo work.
Lozar released his first solo single, "Na kraju dana", on 29 May 2006, and his debut album 1 dan came out on Croatia Records on 30 June 2007, showing a more grown-up side. In 2015 he joined the second season of Tvoje lice zvuči poznato, where celebrities impersonate a different music star each week, and on 6 December he was declared the winner. A year later he voiced Branch in the Croatian version of the animated film Trolls.
Since 2019 he has released his music through Agapa: the single "Dama" in 2020, the album San, and in 2021 the R'n'B ballad "Vrati se", which mixes soul and pop with his warm tenor and was filmed in the winter countryside around Grabovac. At Dora 2024 he sang "Ne plačem zbog nje" and went through from his semi-final. New songs keep coming, from "Čudo" and "Lom" with Tonka to "Tvoj dio neba" and "Šumi, šumi javore", and the playlist follows them on his own channel.
