About Makk

Makk, whose real name is Mak Mehić, is a rapper and producer from Bosnia and Herzegovina. He was born in Trebinje and spent his childhood in Mostar, where he finished primary and secondary school, with a spell in Munich as a boy; that is why he is on Muzika-Balkan under Bosnia. After school he went to university in Vienna. His label is based in Mostar, but the sources do not say where he lives today.

He started out in the late 2000s with the collective Revoloocija, releasing two Revoloocija mixtapes in 2008 and 2009, and hosted the hip-hop show Čas Revoloocije on Studio 88 radio. His first albums followed quickly: Teatar snova with En Decka Beatz in 2009, Muzika iz kutije in 2010 and Mak svijeta in 2012, with EPs such as T.I.T.O. and Duhovi iz tramvaja in between.

In 2015 he launched 1kroz1, a Mostar production and label collective that started as a digital label, and released the album Mladi Tarantino on it. That period brought "Bajram" and "Tarantinov film" with Jala Brat, "Ni strah ni stid" with Sajfer and Loš Sin, "Svjetla moga grada", "Mostarska mati" with Mayer, and "Adidaske" with Struka and Jasmina Šuta. "Suzanna", with Albino and Milja, and "Sirene", with Redneck, came in 2018. Over the years he has worked with Frenkie, Kontra, Albino and many others, and he has shot more than thirty music videos.

His album SBURNNDU came out in 2021, and the 1kroz1 Cypher in 2023 gathered the label's rappers. In 2025 he reunited with Albino on "Prezime", "100 jutara" and "Hani", made "Za minut" with Redneck and released the EP Makkelangelo, five singles each with its own video. In 2026 he appeared on "Fejm" by Hvrun and Akira.

The playlist holds the videos of SBURNNDU, from the intro to "Sinana" and both parts of "AMG".
