About Konstrakta

Konstrakta is the stage name of Ana Đurić, born Ana Ignjatović on 12 October 1978 in Belgrade. An architect by training, she graduated from the Faculty of Architecture at the University of Belgrade, and became one of the most original voices of Serbian pop: dry, witty songs about everyday life, sung in a deep contralto.

She started out in the early 2000s in the little-known electronic group MistakeMistake, then made her name as the singer of the Belgrade band Zemlja gruva!, founded in 2007. With them she released WTF Is Gruveland? (2010), Dino u Zemlji Gruva (2013), an album of songs by Dino Dvornik, and Šta stvarno želiš? (2016). "Najlepše želje", "Nisam znala da sam ovo htela" and "Jače manijače" were the band's best-known songs, and the group competed at Beovizija in 2008 and 2009.

Her solo career began in June 2019 with the single "Žvake". "Neam šamana" followed in 2020, a song inspired by a tabloid story about Emina Jahović. In February 2022 she released Triptih, a twelve-minute video for three songs, "Nobl", "In corpore sano" and "Mekano", made with Ana Rodić and director Maja Uzelac.

"In corpore sano" entered Serbia's national selection as an underdog and won both the jury and the public vote. At the Eurovision Song Contest 2022 in Turin she finished fifth with 312 points and won the Marcel Bezençon Artistic Award, as well as an award from the Polish media for the most creative entry. That summer she played to about 20,000 people at Sea Star Festival in Umag and, with Zemlja gruva!, became the first local headliner on the main stage of Exit.

In 2023 she premiered "Evo, obećavam!", a three-part song about depression and anxiety, and in 2024 she came fourth in the Serbian selection with "Novo, bolje". In September 2024 she gave her first solo concert in the renovated Sava Centar, and in 2025 she released four singles as the Skup slova project, about people and technology.
