About Goblini

Goblini (The Goblins) are a punk rock band from Šabac. Guitarist Alen Jovanović and Vladislav Kokotović had played in the Karlovac band Lorelei until 1991; they moved to Šabac and in March 1992 formed Goblini with singer Branko Golubović. Their first two albums, Goblini and Istinite priče I deo, both from 1994, came out only on cassette, the second with "Cipjonka", "eLeSDi se vraća kući" and "Za Lorenu".

The live cassette KST Live 31.08.'95 caught their club shows, with covers of KUD Idijoti and the Ramones and their version of Boris Novković's "Tamara". The CD U magnovenju (1996) brought "On je ona je", "Ima nas!", "Petra", "Vođa" and "Anja, volim te", a Videosex cover dedicated to Anja Rupel. The band toured Slovenia several times, played the Zgaga Rock festival, opened for Motörhead in Budapest in 1997, and released the double live CD Turneja u magnovenju 96/97 in 1998. Drummer Vladimir Cinkocki of Generacija bez budućnosti and Obojeni program played with them in 1997.

Re Contra was finished in early 1999 but released only in December, after an Italian tour. In June 2001 the band played a last concert at the Zagreb club Močvara and split up. The best-of Najbolje priče followed in 2004.

Goblini reunited in 2010 with the single "Luna" and "Kao da": "Luna" spent four weeks on the Jelen Top 10, and Popboks readers voted its video the best domestic video of 2010. A documentary, Ima nas gomila, premiered on RTV Vojvodina. The comeback album Roba s greškom came out in 2013, and its 2014 concert at Belgrade's Hala sportova had guests from Partibrejkers, Atheist Rap, Eyesburn and Deca loših muzičara. In 2015 they opened EXIT on the main stage, in 2019 released Jednina, and in 2025 the single "Idemo do kraja". The playlist is the band's own channel.
