Obojeni program

Obojeni program is an alternative rock band from Novi Sad, formed in 1980 around the singer Branislav Babić, and it calls itself one of the pioneers of the Serbian alternative scene. The first line-up was a trio with Goran Ivčić on bass and Edi Keler on drums; for a while the band was called simply Program, before it became Obojeni program. It played its first concert at the club Bronx in Novi Sad in 1981, and in February 1982 it played in Vienna as part of the Novi Sad new wave.

In the 1980s the band appeared in films by Želimir Žilnik, among them Drugi talas and Tako se kalio čelik. Its debut album, Najvažnije je biti zdrav, came out in May 1990, with the hit "Štipaljka", the band's first promo video. Ovaj zid stoji krivo followed at the end of 1991, then Verujem ti jer smo isti (1994) and Ili 5 minuta ispred tebe (1996). In 1993 the band's videos were shown on MTV, "Reforma u vašoj glavi" on 120 Minutes, and John Peel played "Uživaj u ludilu nekih malih stvari" on BBC Radio.

The line-up kept changing around Babić, with musicians such as Miroslav Bedov, Dragan Knežević, Ljubomir Pejić and Vladimir Cinkocki. Later albums were Sva sreća general voli decu (1999), Ako nisam dobra, šta ćemo onda? (2002), Da li je to čovek ili je mašina (2005), recorded in the Netherlands, Kosmos u tvom srcu / Igračke se voze levom rukom (2009) and Kako to misliš: mi (2012). Around 2003 the band opened for Placebo in Belgrade, and in 2009 it shared a stage with The Fall.

"Nebo, nebo plavo je" was ranked 45th in the 2006 poll of B92's Top 100 domestic songs, and lyrics from four of the band's songs are in Petar Janjatović's anthology Pesme bratstva, detinjstva & potomstva (2008). Since 2000 Obojeni program has played every EXIT festival except the virtual 2020 edition, and in 2015 it celebrated 35 years with a concert in Belgrade. Singles such as "Vrlo jednostavno" (2016), "Danas će se desiti nešto lepo" (2016) and "Kako ja to ne primećujem" (2017) followed. The playlist is the band's own channel, mostly live videos.
