About Generacija Bez Budućnosti
Generacija bez budućnosti, often shortened to GBB, was a punk rock band from Novi Sad. It was founded in 1990 by sixteen-year-olds from the Liman neighbourhood, and two months later they played their first concert at the club Linea.
After two demo recordings the band released the single "Ima da me slušaš!" in 1991. Their first album, Vol. 1, produced by Zoran Bulatović, came out in January 1992 in only 500 copies, but "Olovna jutra" and "Jamajka" became hits. They stood out at the Brzi bendovi Srbije festival, where the video for "Jamajka" was nominated for video of the year. Listeners of Radio Kruševac voted Vol. 1 album of the year, the band won the Biggest Hopes '93 award, and Ritam magazine named it the debut album of 1993.
"Energija" brought them back to the charts in 1995, and the album Splin followed on the Sistem label in 1997. The band stopped in February 1999, came back in 2001 and again in May 2006, and in 2007 SKC Novi Sad released Ne predaj se, with a remastered Vol. 1, live recordings and two remixes.
Their last album, Superheroin, came out around 2010, the year they also played EXIT, and in 2013 the band officially ended. Many musicians played in it over the years; the last line-up was singer Robert Bu, guitarists Aleksandar Reljić and Miloš Rašković, Dušica Stojković on keyboards, Marko Vanović on bass and Goran Đorić on drums. The playlist brings together "Štrafta" and "Sistem mašina" from Superheroin, the EXIT 2010 concert and older songs such as "Kompleksi" and "Skandal".
