East Elysium

East Elysium are an alternative and progressive rock band with ambient and kirtan elements. They are on Muzika-Balkan because the band was formed in Nikšić, Montenegro, in December 2009, and its singer Vesna Anastasia Božović was born there on 6 February 1970. English Wikipedia calls her a German-Montenegrin artist; the band's members now live in Germany, India and Serbia, and no source says who lives where.

The band was started by Milutin Radonjić, Danilo Vuletić and Vesna Anastasia Božović. Today Vesna sings lead, Danilo Vuletić plays drums, keyboards and bass, Milivoje Kljajić plays lead guitar, Anto Lutovac rhythm guitar and Mina Simonović sings backing vocals. They present their music as a spiritual path, and some songs are devotional chants.

Vesna studied Vedic culture, philosophy and Sanskrit in Germany and India in the 1990s and holds two master's degrees from the University of Montenegro. She writes the lyrics, has published a novel and a book of poems, and directs music videos, including the band's own.

Their albums are Transpassed Reality and Angel (2022), with guests such as Aleksandra Radić. Singles include "Angel", "Breathe Me", "Shiva Shambhu", "Embrace", "Wings" and "Feel". The video for "Embrace", directed by Vesna, won the music video award at the KinoDrome festival in 2025 and several more festival awards after it.

The playlist is the band's Topic channel, with "Beautiful Possession", "Polar Star", "Putevi u nama", "Next to Me" and "Wings".
