About Dr Iggy

Dr Iggy is the stage name of Igor Todorović, a Serbian dance musician born in Belgrade on 22 November 1970. He was one of the big names of the mid-1990s Eurodance wave in Serbia, and he is remembered above all for "Oči boje duge", on which the female vocal was sung by Ivana Peters.

His debut album, Oči boje duge, came out in 1995 on ITV Melomarket. It was followed by Kao pre (1996, Centroscena) and Kada reči nisu potrebne (1997, PGP RTS and Košava). After Ivana Peters, the female vocals on his records were sung by Tanja Stojmenović, on Kao pre and Kada reči nisu potrebne, and by Vesna Pavlović, also known as Vesna Milačić Kaja. Later albums were Zbog tebe and Tragovi ljubavi (both 2000) and Sve (2002).

His popularity peaked in 1996, when he celebrated his birthday with a sold-out concert at the Sava Centar in Belgrade and then toured widely at home and abroad. Looking back, he said he had been surprised by how popular he became, and that the first euphoria calmed down after his third album. Besides "Oči boje duge", his best-known songs are "Nikad", "Kao pre", "Pusti me da živim", "Uzalud se trudiš" and "Biću tu".

He played the Sava Centar again on 2 February 2010, and in 2016 he released "Srce ledeno" with DJ Shone and Marina Visković. His songs and videos, from the 1995 album onwards, are gathered here in one playlist.
