About Ding Dong
Ding Dong was a hip-hop group from Niš, active from 1997 to 2002 and part of the first wave of Serbian rap. Their biggest influence was House of Pain, but their songs were all their own: playful and funny, full of local jokes and rapped in the dialect of southern Serbia and Niš.
The group's members were Marko Marković, known as Dete Neverovatnić Desibe, Robert Kitanović (Robi R.), Bratislav Blagojević (Bratislav MC) and Magdalena Mojsilović (Mag da Lena).
Their debut album, Nema problema, came out on ITMM in 1997. South Side followed on Centro Scena in 1999, and Skroz on City Records and Be Bop Records in 2002. "Ćelav sam, pa šta!?" and "Oš koš loš još" from the second and third albums made the group widely popular. After a few years Ding Dong stopped working together and some of the members went solo, but the group still comes back together now and then for concerts.
