Amadeus Band

Amadeus Band is a Serbian group from Leskovac, formed in 1997, whose music moves between pop, rock and pop-folk. Singer Bojan Tasić and keyboard players Bojan and Aleksandar Stanimirović have been with the band from the start. Drummer Bojan Zlatanović, a founding member, played with them until November 2020 and died that year; guitarist Nenad Milošević was a member until 2005 and Milan Kordulup from August 2005 to February 2021. The current line-up is completed by guitarist Stefan Jevđić, who joined in 2021, and drummer Miroslav Mitić, there since 2024.

The band made its name at festivals. In 2001 they sang "Kupi me" at Sunčane skale in Herceg Novi, and it became the title track of their first album, Kupi me (2002), which also has "Možda" and "Skini tu haljinu". In 2003 they won the Veče zabavne muzike in Banja Luka with "Prospi sada laži", the closing song of their second album, Takve kao mi (City Records, 2003). A year later "Ona i ja" won the Radio Festival in Serbia.

"Ona i ja" and "Mesec dana", which they sang at Pjesma Mediterana in Budva in 2005, are both on the album 100% (2005), alongside "Lažu te", "Dođi kući" and "Ko će usne da ti ljubi". In 2007 Amadeus Band competed at Beovizija with "Zato što znam" and released Večeras..., with songs such as "Tako malo" and "Čija si - nisi". Ljubav i hemija (2009), partly produced in Stockholm, and Nije svejedno (2011) followed.

For Krv i navike (2015) the band recorded with a symphony orchestra at Bulgarian National Radio; the album includes "Izdajice", "Jugoslavija" and "Miris Beograda". In 2017 Grand Production released their singles "Znam" and "Ne verujem ja", and in 2018 Grand released the album Budi svoja, with "Šapni", "Sidro", "Ti si ta" and the title song. Amadeus Band has also released live recordings from Sava Centar and Ada Ciganlija.
