About Breskvica

Breskvica ("Little Peach") is the stage name of Anđela Ignjatović, a Serbian singer born on 19 May 2001 in Belgrade. She sings both urban pop and folk-influenced popular music, and she also plays the piano and the guitar.

She made her recording debut on 29 August 2019 with the single "Utopia", released by Generacija Zed. Her popularity grew quickly through a series of songs with Voyage, made between 2019 and 2021, and together they won the YouTube Star award at the 2020 Music Awards Ceremony.

Her first solo single, "Srećan put", came out in July 2021, and it was followed by a run of commercially successful standalone singles. The biggest of them was the pop-folk duet "Sava i Dunav" with Henny in 2022, which passed 80 million views on YouTube. Her duet with Teodora Džehverović, "Drift", reached number one on the Billboard Croatia Songs chart in March 2023.

In June 2023 she headlined the Belgrade Music Week festival, and for part of the show she left her usual image behind to sing traditional Serbian folk songs in national costume; the concert was later released as a live album. In 2024 she took part in Pesma za Evroviziju, the Serbian Eurovision selection, with "Gnezdo orlovo", and finished as runner-up, first in the televote with more than 45,000 votes and seventh with the jury. The selection was won by Teya Dora with "Ramonda".

Her debut album, Turbo i folk, came out on 29 November 2024 on Generacija Zed, with songs such as "Vatra i dim" and "Crni šećer", the latter a duet with Zorana Mićanović. The playlist here gathers her tracks from her official artist channel, from the Belgrade live recordings to her newest songs.
