Blümchen

Blümchen is the stage name of Jasmin Wagner, a German pop singer born in Hamburg on 20 April 1980 to a German father and a Croatian mother. Her Croatian mother is why she is on this site. She grew up in Hamburg's Jenfeld district and has stayed in her home city: in 2020 she moved to St. Georg, another part of Hamburg.

She was fifteen when Blümchen began in the autumn of 1995 with "Herz an Herz", a cover of a song by Paso Doble, which reached number 4 in Germany. Eurodance with German lyrics followed on four albums: Herzfrequenz (1996), Verliebt … (1997), Jasmin (1998) and Die Welt gehört dir (2000). As Blossom she also released English versions, starting with a cover of Queen's "Bicycle Race". The hits included "Kleiner Satellit (Piep, Piep)", "Boomerang", "Du und ich", a cover of Nena's "Nur geträumt" and "Blaue Augen". "Heut' ist mein Tag" went to number one in Norway, her only number one single. The project earned five gold records and two Echo awards.

Blümchen played her farewell concert in Gerolzhofen on 11 February 2001. Under her own name, Jasmin Wagner then acted in films such as Driven, hosted television shows and played Sally Bowles in Cabaret on stage. She also released the single "Leb' deinen Traum" in 2003 and the album Die Versuchung. In 2010 an online campaign sent "Boomerang" back into the German chart, this time to number 7.

She brought Blümchen back in 2019 with "Computerliebe" and a comeback show at the Veltins-Arena in Gelsenkirchen. "Herzalarm", a duet with Finch, reached number 7 in Germany in 2021, and the album Von Herzen reached number 6, her best album placing. After signing with Virgin Records she released "Ravergirl" in 2024, and in 2025 a new "Boomerang" with Eli Preiss and the single "Magnet". In March 2025 she announced the end of Blümchen, and she played her last show in Mannheim on 29 November 2025.

The playlist gathers her official music videos, from "Herz an Herz" and "Kleiner Satellit (Piep, Piep)" to "Blaue Augen" and "Ich bin wieder hier".
