Blerando

Blerando is a singer, songwriter and rapper who makes music in Albanian. He was born Blerin Lajçi on 24 January 1999 in Germany, in Hannover according to the Albanian Wikipedia, and he grew up there. His family is Albanian and comes from Rugova in western Kosovo, and English Wikipedia calls him a German-born Kosovan singer: that family background in Kosovo is why he is on Muzika-Balkan. The sources say he was born and raised in Germany but do not say where he lives today.

He started making music at a young age. His first song, "Shadi", recorded with Fleggo, came out on 18 August 2021, and "Magjike", again with Fleggo, followed a month later and topped the charts in Kosovo, North Macedonia and Albania.

A steady run of singles followed: "Tempelena", "Melancholy", "Vetun", "Mesazhin", "Xhensila", "Nuse", "Nafta" and "Dominante" in 2022, then "Loola" with Arvena, "Manaferra", "Patinazh", "Nuk pritoj", "Çka na bone" and "Po ti dikun po don me dal" in 2023. "Xhensila", "Magjike" and "Shadi" are named among his most successful songs.

He became known to a much wider audience on television, in the second season of Big Brother VIP Kosova, which ran over the turn of 2023 and 2024. When the final was decided on 3 February 2024 he finished second, behind Lumbardh Salihu.

He kept releasing music afterwards: "Jom betu", "Rrakata", "Katile 5.0" with Klement and "Rio e Tokyo" in 2024, "Loti yt", "Apo vjen" and "Tjeter kon" with Gesko in 2025, and "Ki Me Pa" with Klement in 2026. He married Albulena (Lena) Krasniqi, an entrepreneur based in Turkey. The playlist gathers his official videos.
