Antonela Doko

Antonela Doko is a Croatian pop singer, born in Rijeka on 10 June 1999. She is on Muzika-Balkan as a Rijeka-born artist, and the Rijeka daily Novi list writes about her as a singer of its own city. The sources do not say where she lives today: they give her roots in Rijeka and her studies in Zagreb, where she completed a piano degree at the Music Academy.

She started out in 2014 with the song "Zato što" and caught the public's attention the same year with the duet "Voli me". In 2015 she won the "Moj prvi Music pub" award for young talent on Zlatko Turkalj's television show Music Pub, and at the end of the year she signed with Croatia Records. The first single for the label, "Ludi ti", was written by Ines Prajo, who has remained her regular collaborator.

In 2016 she made her debut at the 63rd Zagreb Festival with "Onaj dan", her first big hit, which spent thirty weeks on the chart of Hrvatski radio. The same year she came third at the Baltic Song Contest in Karlshamn, Sweden, and gave her first solo concert. In 2017 she won the Porin for best new artist, the youngest winner of that award, and was also nominated for best female vocal performance.

Her first album, O čemu pričamo, came out in 2020 with "Tako kažeš", "Odlična stvar" and "Onaj dan". After a long break, which she said was not a decision to stop but the demands of her studies, she returned in October 2023 with "Bum bum", music by Ines Prajo, lyrics by Arijana Kunštek and arrangement by Ivan Popeskić, with a video directed by Dinko Čvorić Doringo. In 2024 came "Imamo li problem", an emotional ballad with a touch of country soul, and "Ide li nam išta", both meant for her second studio album.

Antonela Doko's playlist is her Topic channel, from "Onaj dan" and "Ta ljubav" to "Sve osim nas" and "Bum bum".
