About Night Shift

Night Shift is a hard rock band from Belgrade, formed in 1991 by the brothers Milan (guitar, vocals) and Danijel Šćepanović (drums) with their friend Marko Dacić (bass, vocals). The band counts 11 January 1991, the day of the trio's first gig, as its birthday. From 1993 they played all over FR Yugoslavia, and by the end of the decade, with their own sound and light engineer, they were a cult club attraction.

Their debut, the cover album Undercovers, was released by PGP RTS in 2002, with songs by Sade, Eurythmics, The Stranglers, Peter Gabriel, The Doors, Ricky Martin, Prince and others, and guest backing vocals by Dejan Cukić and Ivana Pavlović of Negative. Videos were made for "No Ordinary Love", "Livin' La Vida Loca" and "Missing". The same year they covered Ekatarina Velika's "Ti si sav moj bol" on a tribute album to Milan Mladenović, and on the No Ordinary Tour that followed they passed 1,500 live shows. Their 2004 concert at SKC came out as the No Ordinary DVD, the first surround sound DVD released in Serbia.

At Beovizija 2004 they sang "Daj mi snage" with Teodora Bojović and won the awards for band and album of the year. In 2007 Branislav Vukobratović replaced Dacić on bass, and their first album of original songs, Bez zaklona, mastered in New York by James Cruz, came out on 13 October 2009 through Multimedia Records.

On 23 September 2010 they opened for Guns N' Roses at the Belgrade Arena. "Snovi" climbed to fourth place on the Jelen Top 10, and Popboks readers voted Bez zaklona the ninth best domestic album of 2010. In September 2011 they released two videos for "Nikada", one with fans and one with Serbian celebrities including Ana Stanić, Marčelo and Prljavi Inspektor Blaža.
