Milica Todorović

Milica Todorović is a Serbian pop-folk singer and actress, born on 13 October 1990 in Kruševac. She trained in handball and judo as a girl, loved music from an early age and had learned the piano by thirteen.

At thirteen she went to the auditions for the first season of the TV talent show Zvezde Granda and got into the competition but was eliminated. She applied again for the second season in 2005 and won it as its youngest contestant. Her first songs, "Uporedi me" and "Reci ja", came out that year, and in 2006 she reached the final of the Grand festival with "Zašto cura sedi sama". Because she had to wait until she came of age, her debut album, Pamtim ja, only came out in 2009.

In the early 2010s she released singles such as "Sa bilo kim", "Samo me zagrli", "Sve je uzalud" and "Zbog tebe", and in 2013 "Nema nazad". "Tri čaše", released the same year, passed 100 million views on YouTube and made her one of the most popular singers to come out of Zvezde Granda. Even bigger was "Moje zlato", a duet with MC Yankoo from summer 2014, with over 185 million views her most-watched video. That year she also came second at the Grand festival with "Konačna odluka", and in 2016 she released "Limunada" with Emina Jahović.

Besides singing, she has acted. She played the lead role of Azra in Emir Kusturica's opera Time of the Gypsies, which premiered at the Opéra Bastille in Paris in June 2007, and she sang the folk song "Jutros mi je ruža procvetala" in the film An Ordinary Man (2017), starring Ben Kingsley. She has also been a judge on the children's show Neki novi klinci.

Milica Todorović lives in Belgrade. Her playlist here is her Topic channel, with "Uspomene", "Konačna odluka", "Nema nazad", "Sve je uzalud" and her live medleys at Grand Production.
