About Tanja Savić

Tanja Savić is a Serbian pop-folk singer, born on 20 March 1985 in Radinac near Smederevo; she spent her childhood in Smederevska Palanka. She came to fame in the first season of the talent show Zvezde Granda (2003-2004), where she finished third, and her first song, "Za moje dobro", with lyrics by Marina Tucaković, became a big hit.

Her debut album, Tako mlada, came out on Grand Production on 16 June 2005 and sold 100,000 copies; besides "Za moje dobro" it has "Tako mlada", "Kao brodovi", "Minut ljubavi", "Zašto me u obraz ljubiš" and "U godini jedan dan", a duet with Darko Filipović. At the first Grand festival in 2006 she finished second with "Poludela", and the same year she sang "Suknjica" in the film Guča!. With Bane Mojićević she sang "Simpatija" at Beovizija 2007, and with "Zlatnik" she was fourth at the 2008 Grand festival.

Her self-titled second album (2008) brought "Zlatnik", "Potpis moj", "Alo, mama" and "Crveno slovo", and in 2009 she sang "Gde ljubav putuje" in the film Srpski ožiljci. Her third album, Sestre po suzama, followed in December 2009, and "Incident" took second place at the 2010 Grand festival. After her marriage she moved to Australia, returning to the stage in 2013; in 2014 she competed in Tvoje lice zvuči poznato and sang "Ti si ta" with Darko Lazić.

Her comeback came in 2016 with "Švaler", one of the biggest hits in the country that year, with about 25 million views on YouTube, followed by "Prostakuša" in 2017. At the end of 2017 "Oči boje viskija", with the rappers Corona and Rimski, did even better, and the three teamed up again on "Zločin bez dokaza" in 2018. These songs and new ones such as "Laga laga" and "Bye Bye" make up Stranci, released by IDJTunes in December 2019, ten years after her previous album.

Tanja Savić's fifth album, Lečim se životom, came out through Toxic Entertainment in June 2024, and on 23 November 2024 she began her first regional tour, marking twenty years of her career, at the Belgrade Arena. Over the years she has also sung with Slavica Ćukteraš, Aleksandra Matriks and, in 2025, Željko Joksimović, on "Pozdravi". She has two sons, Maksim and Đorđe.
