In Bratunac she went to school and started singing, and from the age of twelve until she turned eighteen she sang in local discos every weekend. She grew up listening to Dragana Mirković, Lepa Brena and Ceca, and names them as her influences.

Crno zlato followed on IN Music in December 2008, and her third, self-titled album on BN Music in February 2011. It carried "Djevojačko prezime", which she calls her signature song and which won Hit of the Year in Sarajevo.

Opasne vode included "Alkohol", the club song she sang at the first Pink Music Festival in 2014, later heard in the Netflix film The Swimmers. In 2016 the single "Pauza" was her first in the Ekavian dialect, which she has kept using since.
On her 29th birthday she released "To me radi" with the rappers and producers Jala Brat and Buba Corelli, whose video passed 70 million views.
