About Klapa Rišpet
Klapa Rišpet is a Croatian klapa from Split, founded in September 2011 by the Split composer and producer Pero Kozomara. They sing in the Dalmatian klapa tradition with guitar and keyboards beside the voices, and in recent years they have released their songs simply as Rišpet.
Success came quickly. In 2013 the klapa won the Grand Prix of the Split festival with "Ćaća", and their debut album, Kad je pošla ća, came out on Scardona in November of that year. Two more albums followed, Reći ćeš mi fala and Šta mi ljube oćeš kazat, and the title songs of both became big hits.
Rišpet has won the Cesarica award for the klapa hit of the year four times: with "Reći ćeš mi fala" in 2017, "Šta mi ljube oćeš kazat" in 2018, "Kada ljubav dvije duše spoji" in 2019 and "Maka, maka" in 2020.
They like to sing with others. Mišo Kovač joined them on "Sunce mi od tebe dolazi", Jelena Rozga on "Prsti zapleteni" and Doris Dragović on "Jedina jubav moga života", and they have also worked with Jole, Frane Perišin, the television host Duško Ćurlić and Zorica Kondža. They have played concerts in the Lisinski hall in Zagreb and the Spaladium Arena in Split, and in 2018 they appeared in the Makarska episode of the television series Lijepom našom.
The line-up gathers Kozomara as composer and producer, soloist Ivo Amulić, tenors Frane Jukić and Jure Šaban-Stanić, who is also the artistic leader, baritone Gordan Bezer, basses Jure Bralić and Igor Visković, guitarist Marin Tramontana and keyboard player Leo Škaro. Newer songs such as "Lumin" and "Cukar" sit in the playlist beside the first hits "Ćaća" and "Kad je pošla ća".
