Hava

Hava is a German rapper and singer, born Dilara Hava Tunç on 12 August 1998 in Hamm, the town where she grew up and, according to English Wikipedia, still lives. She is on Muzika-Balkan because of her Bosnian roots: her mother was born in Germany to parents from Doboj in Bosnia and Herzegovina, while her father comes from Aksaray in Turkey. German was the only language spoken at home, but she also speaks Bosnian and Turkish, and Wikipedia describes her as being of Bosniak and Turkish descent.

By her own account she taught herself the piano from the age of five and always dreamed of making music. She first became known through singing videos on social media. In March 2019 she posted a short preview of "Heartbreaker" on Instagram, and about two months later, before her first song was even out, she signed with Sony Music.

"Heartbreaker" came out in April 2019, was shared by rappers such as Nimo, Moe Phoenix and Sun Diego, and reached number 130 on the German Spotify weekly chart. Her second single, "Korb", climbed to number 91. Her fourth single, "Idemo", was sung almost entirely in German like the others, but for the first time part of the chorus was in Bosnian.

Her breakthrough came in December 2019 with "Kein Schlaf", her first collaboration, recorded with Nimo. It entered the official German singles chart at number one, went gold in Germany and platinum in Switzerland, and passed 20 million YouTube views in under three months. Her first studio album, Weiss, followed in December 2020, and both the album and four of its five advance singles reached the German charts.

Since 2020 she has been in a relationship with the rapper Dardan, and the two became engaged in 2021. They have released several duets, among them "Killa", "Normal", "Für immer" and "Gib uns niemals auf". Her other videos include "Jedan dan", "Dušo", "Molim", "Moje sve", "Liebe & Hass" and, most recently, "Kannst du mich lieben?", "Wenn du vor mir gehst" and "Wer ich bin".
