Dardan

Dardan, born Dardan Mushkolaj on 2 October 1997 in Stuttgart, is a German rapper who also goes by the name Mister Dardy. His parents are Kosovo Albanian immigrants from Deçan, which is why he is listed here among the artists of Kosovo. He grew up in Rot, part of Stuttgart's Zuffenhausen district.

His younger brother Alban introduced him early to grime, the British style that became his inspiration when he began rapping himself. He first performed as Sniperflow. At the end of 2016 he and the rapper Eno put "Wer macht Para?" on YouTube; it went viral, passing 30 million views by October 2020, and PULS, the youth station of the Bavarian broadcaster, named Dardan one of the four most promising rappers of the coming year.

His first single, "Telefon" (2017), made his name across German-speaking Europe. On 19 May 2017 he released the digital mixtape Hallo Deutschrap, shaped by grime and trap and with guests including Olexesh and Mosenu, and soon after he appeared on tracks with Nimo and supported him on tour. His debut album, Dardy Luther King, came out in three parts between March and August 2018.

The album Sorry followed on 16 August 2019 and spent three weeks in the German chart. When his label released the wrong track as the single "Favela", the mistake was later corrected and the right song put out. Soko Disko came out on 5 June 2020 and Mister Dardy on 5 February 2021, followed by DardyNextDoor (2022), Dardania (2023), Mr. Untouchable (2024) and Catch Me If You Can (2025).

In 2023 he was one of the coaches of The Voice Rap by Cupra, a new spin-off of The Voice of Germany whose winner went straight to the main show's semi-final. His candidate, Dominic "CEO" Krämer, lost to Leon "Ezo" Weick from Kool Savas's team.
