Ana Štajdohar

Ana Štajdohar is a Serbian pop singer, born on 24 November 1979 in Belgrade. Her surname comes from her parents' Slovenian roots. Many viewers know her voice from the late-night talk show Veče sa Ivanom Ivanovićem, where she has performed with her band since 2010.

She started very young. On a family holiday on Hvar, at the age of four, she sang "Julie" at a concert by Danijel Popović and got a standing ovation from the crowd and from Popović himself. She went on to the Mokranjac music school and sang solo with well-known children's choirs such as Kolibri, at their annual concerts in the Sava Centar.

Her breakthrough came with the dance-pop group Tap 011, which she joined as one of its lead singers together with Nataša Guberinić, replacing Goca Tržan and Ivana Peters. With the group she released two albums, Čudesna ploča in 2001 and 5 Element in 2002.

In 2008 she and Aleksa Jelić took part in Beovizija, the Serbian Eurovision selection, with the folk-tinged song "Beli jablan"; they finished second and won the award for the best stage performance. The same year she sang "Žute sandale" at the Radio Festival of Serbia and graduated in Italian language and literature from the Faculty of Philology in Belgrade. Solo singles followed, among them "Nisam tu" (2010), "Extra" with Cvija (2011), "U mraku", "Neko kao ti", "Lilihip" (2015) and "Toplo hladno" (2018), and in 2016 the live EP Tri boje zvuka, recorded in RTS Studio 8.

She has also sung backing vocals for Zdravko Čolić, Vlado Georgiev, Nataša Bekvalac and Saša Kovačević. In 2025 she released her first studio album, Psiholuks, on PGP RTS, followed by the single "Deja vu" in 2026.
