About Zsa Zsa
Zsa Zsa, born Jelena Žnidarić on 9 June 1994 in Pušćine near Čakovec, is a Croatian pop singer from Međimurje, where she still lives. She became widely known in 2017 through duets with Damir Kedžo and Vanna.
She was singing on television as a child: in 2006 she came second in the Croatian selection for the Junior Eurovision Song Contest, in 2009 she appeared in the Z1 talent show Kad narastem bit ću zvijezda, and she sang in the young talent slot of Dobro jutro, Hrvatska presented by composer Zdravko Šljivac, founder of the girls' choir Zvjezdice. In spring 2015 she entered X Factor Adria, won four judges' votes and joined the team of Massimo Savić, though she did not reach the live shows. Straight afterwards the judge Aleksandra Kovač wrote her first song, "Živa sam".
Her big year was 2017. "Sve u meni se budi", with Damir Kedžo, won the 64th Zagreb festival, was the most played Croatian song of the year, was named hit of the year by the Croatian Phonographic Association and was nominated for the Cesarica and for a Porin for best vocal collaboration. The same year she released "Kada budemo sami" and "Tragom tvojih tragova" with Vanna. In 2018 she became the first artist of the new label Rubikon Sound Factory, run by producer Bojan Šalamon Shalla and songwriter Ante Pecotić, and released "Pruži mi ruku".
"Sve što hoću" and "Zarobljena" followed in 2019, "Ova ljubav" with Hiljson Mandela in 2020 and "Volim što te ne volim" in 2021. In 2022 she won the first Croatian season of Masked Singer as Meduza, and in 2023 she was a mentor on Zvijezde pjevaju. In 2025 she sang "Međimurje je raj" with Martina Majerle and the Christmas song "Naš Božić!" with Nina Badrić. She also lends her voice to Croatian dubs of animated films, from UglyDolls to Trolls Band Together. Zsa Zsa's playlist here is her Topic channel.
