About Zorica Andrijašević
Zorica Andrijašević, known on stage as Donna, is a Croatian pop singer and songwriter from Makarska, where she still lives and works. She broke through in 2000 with her first album and first hit, both called "Funky Lady", and followed them with dance songs such as "Taj zadnji put", "Tvoj početak i kraj", a duet with Azzur, and "Te quiero amor". Along the way she worked with Neno Belan, Boris Đurđević, Dean Dvornik and Mladen Grdović.
Later she turned more to songwriting, often with Leo Škara as co-writer and producer, writing for other singers as well as herself. Her songs "Lom", "Como paraiso" and "Izgubljene stvari" came from that partnership, and "Izgubljene stvari" won the grand prix at a festival in Korčula. With Škara she also wrote "Glumica" for the Slovenian singer Nina Donelli and songs for Mali Split that won both the audience and the jury awards. She wrote for Mladen Grdović's album Da san ima mota, gave "Bol bolujen jube moja" to the band Banana, wrote a fan anthem for the Makarska futsal club Apfel and has worked with the Split disco band Magic Seventy.
In August 2024 Zorica Andrijašević sang "Žena ničija" in the competition of Večeri dalmatinske šansone in Šibenik, a song that had been nearly finished some twenty years earlier and that her mother had long urged her to release. It is about women who give their lives to others and later wonder whose they are. Her music videos are gathered here in one playlist.
