Verica Pandilovska

Verica Pandilovska is a Macedonian pop singer, born on 13 May 1973 in Tetovo, which is why she is on Muzika-Balkan under Macedonia. She went to music school for violin, then to secondary music school for solo singing, and studied solo singing at the music academy for two years before moving to the theory department.

Her first public appearance was at the Skopje premiere of the film Arizona Dream in the Universal Hall, where she sang the traditional "Kaleš bre Anǵo". Her first solo song, "Vratete go bogovi", composed by Dragan Vučić, came at the Interfest festival in Bitola in 1994 and won her the award for best performer. In 1995 she sang Ljupčo Cvetkovski's "Ti ne razbiraš" at the Skopje Festival.

After a pause she returned in 1999 at Makfest with "Bez zdiv", written by Toše Pop-Simonov, in whose studio her earlier songs had also been recorded. "Znaeš deka znam" followed at the Skopje Festival 2000, where Pop-Simonov won the award for the best lyrics, and "Nema zošto" at Makfest 2001, which won her the award for interpretation. Then she stepped away from festivals.

Two years later she came back with the hit "Kučkin sin", then "Daj mi vino" (2004/05), "Kapka pot" by Vlado Janevski and Darko Dimitrov (June 2006) and "Životot e" (January 2007), composed by Dejan Miličević with lyrics by Kaliopi. She made videos for most of her songs, directed by Pop-Simonov, Miličević and 3D produkcija.

The peak of her career came in 2007 with her first professional album, Belo zname, which collected "Kučkin sin", "Bez zdiv", "Kapka pot" and other hits; a second album is Samo za tebe. She has also written books on child development and communication skills. The playlist gathers her videos and the songs of her 2016 album from her own channel.
