About Senidah

Senidah, born Senida Hajdarpašić on 9 April 1985 in Ljubljana, is a pop, R&B and trap singer whose songs are heard all over the former Yugoslavia; the press calls her the "Balkan Trap Diva". She is often called a Slovenian singer, because she was born and grew up in Ljubljana, but her parents were Bosniaks from the Bihor area near Bijelo Polje in Montenegro, where she spent her summers with family, and that is why she is listed among Montenegro's artists here. She has said that her roots are in Bosnia and in Montenegro, and that she was born in Yugoslavia and will always remain a Yugoslav.

In 2011 she released the solo single "Pustinjom" with Zlatko and became the lead singer of the band Muff, whose first single, "Ti daješ", came out that July. In 2014 Muff finished second in Slovenia's Eurovision selection with "Let Me Be (Myself)", and the band's self-titled album followed in November.

Her breakthrough came in March 2018 with the trap single "Slađana", which went viral and won Hip-hop/Rap Song of the Year at the Music Awards Ceremony (MAC) in 2019. "Belo", "Bez tebe" and "Nisi bio tu" followed, and her debut album, Bez tebe, came out in March 2019, with singles such as "Mišići", "202" and "Kamikaza", recorded with Jala Brat and Buba Corelli. In 2020 "Mišići" was named Trap Song of the Year, and she received a special Golden MAC for authenticity.

In 2021 she sang "Dođi" with Dino Merlin, which later won the best duet award at the Story Hall of Fame, and released "Fama", a song dedicated to her mother. Her second album, Za tebe, came out on 18 November 2022, after "Behute", "Jadnaja" and "Druga strana"; that year she also recorded "Play With Heart", the official song of the Women's EHF Euro 2022, and shared the top of the bill at EuroPride in Belgrade with Konstrakta. In 2023 she performed with Lepa Brena at the Red Bull Sound Clash and sang on "Mediteran" by Who See.

On 30 August 2024 she played Tašmajdan Stadium in Belgrade to a crowd of about 10,000. Her third album, Sen i dah, came out on 25 February 2025 together with the concert album Live from Belgrade, and the tour that followed took her to Skenderija in Sarajevo, Arena Gripe in Split and Arena Stožice in Ljubljana. "Bandida", with Adriel Favela, was her first song in Spanish. In 2026 she recorded "Love Machine" with Laibach, released the EP U meni je sunce and the Spanish-language single "Amor", and played three nights at Sava Centar in Belgrade.
