About Savo Perović
Savo Perović is a Montenegrin and Serbian pop-folk singer, born in Titograd, today's Podgorica, on 26 January 1991. He inherited his love of music from his mother, Suzana Perović Blondi, and has lived and worked in Belgrade since 2008.
He showed a feeling for music very early, but the wider public first met him in 2010, as a contestant in the singing competition Zvezde Granda. That first attempt did not bring him a good placing, so he entered the same competition again in 2015. This time he won over the jury with his singing, his stage presence and his bold outfits. He did not reach the grand final, but he was given the chance to record a song. He later became known to an even larger audience in the second season of the reality show Zadruga, where he stayed for the full 300 days.
His first single, "Oprosti, volim te još", came out in 2013. It was followed by "Derište" (2016), a duet with Sajsi MC, "Kockar" (2017), sung with Aleksandra Stojković, "Odelo" (2017), "Modro srce" (2018), "Ona me cima" (2019) and "Gram po gram" (2020), a duet with Luna Đogani. "Non-stop" appeared in 2022, "Što da ne" with Silvija Đogani in 2023 and "Bio sam loš" in 2024.
In 2023 Savo Perović competed in Pesma za Evroviziju, Serbia's selection for the Eurovision Song Contest, with "Presidente", which he wrote together with Mahdi and Ivana Rašić Trmčić. He sang it in the first semi-final on 1 March 2023 and finished 14th, so he did not go through to the final.
