Robert Bilbilov

Robert Bilbilov is a Macedonian pop singer, composer and producer, born on 9 May 1983. He started writing songs at about twelve and learned first from his father, Hilmi Bilbil, the author of the song "Biser Balkanski". Before he became known as a singer he wrote and produced for others: he worked with Elena Risteska, playing violin on her album 192, as well as with Gjoko Taneski, Adrijan Gadža, Bojana Atanasovska and Slatkaristika, and his song "Kriv si sam" for Snežana Džepovska was his first big success as an author.

Makfest was his stage for a decade. In 2001 he stood on it with Kristina Arnaudova, for whom he wrote "Prašina", which brought him a nomination for best composer. He wrote "Dopiraš" for Suzana Jovčeva and sang "Sega jas sum na red" in 2003, and followed with "Tajnite angeli" with Rade Vrčakovski Vrčak in 2004, "Izbriši gi solzite" in 2006, "Jas te gubam" in 2008 and the duet "Koga mene mi trebaš" with Viktorija Loba in 2011.

In 2007 he released the duet "Laži me" with Slađana Ivanišević, and at the Ohrid Troubadours festival his "Temperament" became a hit while "Sam se lažam", which he wrote for Adrijan Gadža, took first place. His first album, Jas te gubam, with nineteen songs, was presented on 11 April 2009. In 2010 "Ne možeš bez mene", sung with Deana and Skipi, came third at the pop night of the Ohrid Troubadours.

"Sebična" and "Ti si vinovna" were among the most played songs of 2011 and were nominated at the MARS radio festival, and that year he also recorded "Love Thing", produced by DeAndre Wright. He then worked on a second album of nineteen songs. His videos run from "Ne me drži mesto" in 2007 through "Prekasno e za nas", "Kako Vardar" and "Ti se promeni" to "Čudni mesta", "Koj otrov" and "Jas protiv celiot svet" in the years up to 2022.
