Peđa Jovanović

Peđa Jovanović is a Serbian pop-folk singer, keyboardist, composer and arranger, also known as Peđa Blizanac. Born Predrag Jovanović on 11 January 1977 in Stuttgart, then West Germany, to parents from Priboj, he is on this site as a Serbian singer: he grew up partly in Priboj, and his career has been made in Serbia. With his twin brother Nenad he moved to Priboj at six and finished primary school there, went back to Germany at fourteen, and at 24 the twins moved to Belgrade.

Music came early. He got his first children's guitar and harmonica at three or four, and as teenagers the twins played at events in Germany, gigs arranged by their father, often next to well-known singers. Their favourites were Šaban Šaulić and Cune Gojković.

In 2003 the brothers formed the duo Blizanci in Belgrade, with Nenad singing lead and Peđa on instruments and backing vocals. They released Peđa i Nenad (2003), Okićena (2005) and Dva čovjeka (2008), and their hit "Laki" is still a song he sings at his concerts. The duo split in 2008, and from 2012 to 2017 he played keyboards in Lexington Band.

Bojan Vasković, the leader of Lexington Band, encouraged him to sing himself. During the COVID-19 pandemic he recorded more than a hundred cover versions, one of them "Pustite me" with Boban Rajović. His first solo concert was on 5 November 2022 at MTS Dvorana in Belgrade, released as the live album MTS dvorana (Live 2023). The studio album 24/7 followed on 10 October 2023, with guests Anđela Keleman and Edo Abdović, and Knjiga života came in 2024.

In 2026 he played with the Big Concert Orchestra at the Letnja pozornica in Niš and at Arena Zagreb. The playlist gathers everything from his official channel, from "24/7" and "Neformalno" to "Nek te čuva Bog".
