Neno Murić

Neno Murić, born Nedžad Murić in 1977 in Rožaje, is a Montenegrin pop singer who has lived in Sarajevo for most of his career. His songs are mostly ballads, and he mixes pop and folk, now and then with reggaeton, with a Balkan ethno-folk sound. He has a twin brother who is also a musician.

He came to Sarajevo at the beginning of 1999 to study and stayed after graduating; he is a history teacher by profession. His professional music career began in 2005. For several years in a row he took part in festivals, above all Ohrid Fest in North Macedonia, where he often won awards, and in international festivals in Bulgaria and Turkey. He is a club singer at heart, and at his solo concerts he plays with a band called Rock trajanja.

His first album, Budan sam, came out on 1 January 2005 on the Serbian label Gold Music, with ten songs including "Magija", "Djevojka mog druga", "Matura" and "Dosta je". In the same period Hari Varešanović and Fahrudin Pecikoza wrote "Stope da ti ljubim" for him, the song that made his name.

The second album, Nedostaješ mi ti, was released on 25 May 2012 by the Bosnian broadcaster BHRT. Its ten songs came from writers across Bosnia and Herzegovina and the region, among them Alen Slavica, who wrote the title song, Brano Likić, Fahrudin Pecikoza, Orče Zafirovski and Nikša Bratoš, and Neno himself wrote "Zahir". One of Likić's songs is a duet with Mirza Alijagić, the leader of Mirzino Jato.

Since then he has released singles such as "Uno moja jedina", "Baraba mekog srca", "Boli duša", "Mjesec iznad Rožaja", "Ukrao sam je", "Ti si ono najbolje" and "Ljubiš mi se" (2024). He also sang "Od puta do puta" with Ivana Popović-Martinović. In 2025 he was one of the fifteen artists in Montesong, the Montenegrin selection for Eurovision 2026, with "Ako čuješ glas".
