About Kiša metaka
Kiša metaka ("Rain of Bullets") is a rap group from Split, formed there at the end of 2011, which is why it is on this site. The group was based in Split throughout, and its members have since gone on as solo artists.
The idea came from Papi Para, who proposed the group to Krešo Bengalka and Kid Rađa. According to Bengalka the name was a decade old, and the friends came back to it in late 2011. Before that, several of them had guested on albums by the Split group Dječaci without working together as a crew. The line-up was Krešo Bengalka, Papi Para, Vuk Oreb, Kid Rađa, Vojko V and DJ Vrh.
Their debut album, Kiša metaka, also known as Folder, came out in March 2013 with tracks such as "Konan", "Drei Millionen", "Swaguša", "Hayabusa", "Pazar" and "Komuna". A second album, Folder 2, followed in December 2014, with "Bauhaus", "Apartman", "Jaketa" and "Pljačkam turiste". The crew played clubs such as Tvornica kulture in Zagreb and the Street Code Project in Belgrade.
After Folder 2 the group fell silent and its members went solo. Krešo Bengalka released the single "Pobjeda" in 2016 and the album Finale in 2017. Vojko V's album Vojko (2018) won three Porin awards, and that year he said a new album by Dječaci or Kiša metaka was unlikely.
The playlist is the group's debut album, from "Konan" to "Daj pare", as published on its own channel.
