About Katarina Grujić
Katarina Grujić is a Serbian pop-folk singer, born on 20 May 1992 in Belgrade. After a private gymnasium she studied at the Faculty of Media and Communications of Singidunum University.
She became known in 2012 as a contestant on the singing competition Zvezde Granda, where she finished eighth. Her first recorded song, "Jedno đubre obično", became one of the most noticed hits of 2013, and in September that year she went into the reality show Farma, leaving on day 119, a day before the final.
Her second song, "Lutka" (2014), came with a video in which she imagines an affair with her butler; it was one of the bigger pop-folk hits of the year and won her the "Beogradski pobednik" award for hit of the year. "Greška" (2015) repeated the success, and in October 2016 she released "Drugovi", written by Damir Handanović and Marina Tucaković. "Paranoičan" followed in the summer of 2017, along with the duet "Vino po vino" with MC Ognjen.
In March 2018 she released "Nisam kao druge", which quickly reached millions of views, and then a new song every week. The songs speak about women's lives: cheating, a woman's place and the pain of love. Most of the music is by Damir Handanović, while "Rođena za bol", "Dok mirno spavaš" and "Kraljica" were composed by Srđan Jovanović, Blagoje Melović and Kristijan Jovanović. Together they made her debut album, Jača doza mene, released that year. A duet with Šako Polumenta, "Bonjour", also came out in 2018.
Later singles include "Napad panike" (2019), "Muška kurva" and "Neću da se muvam" (2020), "Dim" with Fatmir Sulejmani (2023), and "Pesma za bakšiš" with Ognjen Amidžić and "Naplatiću ti sve" (2024). In 2021 Katarina Grujić married footballer Marko Gobeljić, and her second album, KGNo2, followed in 2026. The playlist gathers the videos of Jača doza mene and her earlier hits.
