Denis Alic

Denis Alic is a Swedish rapper, singer and songwriter from Malmö. He is on Muzika-Balkan under Bosnia because Swedish Wikipedia, citing the Swedish population register, records that he was born on 10 December 1990 in Bosnia, then part of Yugoslavia. He grew up in Malmö and is still based there; his music is tied to the city and to the rap scene of Skåne.

He is the youngest of three brothers, and it was his brothers who brought him to music. Since 2003 he has made music with his older brother Demko, and Swedish Wikipedia says their songs came close to cult status in Malmö. The two brothers were also members of the group I.G (Inga Gränser) together with Andreas Pinter, a rapper from Hungary, and in his early years Denis went by the name D-Nice. His first album, 6 timmar senare, came out in 2006.

In 2014 he signed with Let's Do This MGMT and became the first artist to come out of Kingsize Magazine's collaboration with Spinnup, Universal Music's service for unsigned artists; his official debut single "Komma iväg" was released in November 2014. The album Malmö har samlats followed in 2016. He has opened in Malmö for Hopsin, Fat Joe, Royce da 5'9" and Snow Tha Product, at concerts arranged by Kulturbolaget, and he was the support act when Hopsin toured Scandinavia.

Kingsize Magazine has covered his singles "Se på mig nu", "Bäst i gamet" and the children's song "Blinka lilla stjärna", whose video came out in 2021. He has worked with Allyawan, Frej Larsson, Ken Ring, Abidaz and Emilush, has talked about his music and Skåne rap on Sveriges Radio P3, and has written for other artists, among them "Tjena tjena" for Familjen Arcombe and "Vi ska vinna över Stureplan" for BasseTheMan and DenMackan. His latest album, Blinka och du missar oss, was released in 2024.

The playlist gathers the music videos from his channel: the 2026 remixes of "Vänner tittar inte så på varandra" and "Make Svensk Hiphop Great Again", "Må bra", "Blinka lilla stjärna", "UDDA" with Lidfeldt, "Vid nattens slut" with Demko, and songs from his brother's catalogue.
